Yoga Therapeutics

This class is designed to help teach students the importance of proper recovery of the physical body, and how to heal muscles and joint dysfunction on a deep level. We often hear about the benefits of engaging in physical activity, however the importance of recovery and rest are not nearly as prevalent, and in many cases totally ignored. Yoga Therapeutics will provide students with knowledge about self myofascial release techniques, how to balance the body properly against gravity, and how to “fire” or activate muscles around the hips and spine to create greater strength and stability in those areas. This is an all levels class, and will be a great complement to an existing yoga practice or fitness routine of any kind.

We offer Yoga Therapeutics on the first Saturday of each month.
